Fishing Report
2/24/10
The winds died down enough the last few days allowing us to fish offshore. On Sunday, we caught our limit of big Yellowtail snapper with a few fish measuring up to 24 inches. There were also some Amberjacks that were caught and released as well as numerous big Groupers that were also released due to the closed season. On Tuesday, we managed to catch a limit of Mangrove Snappers on a half day and again we caught numerous Gag Groupers that we released. The weather is going to take a turn for the worse the next few days so I probably will not be heading out again until the first of next week. I have even heard that the SKA Kingfish tournament that was scheduled in Marco Island on Saturday has been postponed to another time when the weather is not as severe.
Till next time, keep it fishy.
