The world’s top blue water anglers will be headed to the southernmost city next month for the 8th Annual World Sailfish Championship. This billfish extravaganza, scheduled for April 13 – 17 in Key West, typically draws dozens of celebrities including former Miami Dolphins coach Don Shula and baseball Hall of Famer Wade Boggs.
More than 700 anglers are expected to compete for a purse worth more than $1 million, making the World Sailfish Championship one of the richest events of its kind in the world. …
